Noosa Glamping @ Noosa North Shore Camp Ground

The Noosa North Shore Camp Ground (http://www.noosaholidayparks.com.au/noosa-north-shore) is one of our favourite places for setting up our luxury tents. Why ? ..because firstly it can be accessed by 2wd and 4wd. It’s situated right behind the dunes and has reasonable amenities available. The best bit is the beach is car free!!.. so you don’t have to worry about the kids getting run over while they are playing on the beach.

We recommend camp sites 3 and 4 if your looking for a powered site option but when it comes to an unpowered sites there are heaps of good little spots out of the wind or sun which you can choose once you get there. The car ferry (http://www.noosanorthshoreferries.com.au ) at Tewantin is $7 each way which gives you a real sense of getting away from it all while still being close enough to Hasting Street if you want a bit of dinner etc.

Surfing, horse riding, beach fishing  and 4wd driving up to Double island Point are all great activities to be enjoyed. Out tip is to try and stay away from public holidays where possible as the line up for the barge is unpleasant both ways.

Great feedback

Always encouraging to hear from our guests

especially words that come from the heart.

Hey Tim and Lisa. We would like to say a massive thank you for making our camping trip so easy and wonderful. I know it was a bit of a nightmare leading up to the trip, but everything was perfect during our stay, including the weather! Loved the tent and everything you provided, especially the lavendar, candles, pillows and day bed. We appreciate all the hard work which must go into setting it all up and taking it all down!! Would absolutely do it again. Thanks again guys!! Jemma and Ben , Easter 2015

glamping in noosa

My partner and I absolutely adored this stay…! The set up was exactly as it appears in photos, the bed was cosy, and Tim & Lisa set us up in what appeared to be the best site in the entire campground. The little added touches made it very homely, eskys filled with ice and fresh milk for Lisa’s homemade (delicious) granola, candles, slippers for each of us and plenty of cosy blankets. Lisa was easily contactable and very helpful with all questions. A perfect romantic and relaxing weekend away, we only wish we could have stayed longer!

As a non surfing dad with a keen surfing son this was a perfect way to connect with each other in the outdoors. Tim had a range of activities in store and was always able to adjust things depending on weather and conditions.  Tim has a calmness about him so one of the underlying lessons for the boys (and dads!) was to chill out. Great food too – Andy was able to whip up:: a variety of dishes that were restaurant quality, all with a cheery attitude that is infectious. I would high recommend this to any family looking to connect through surfing and the outdoors. We will definitely be going again..
