The LoneHand Story
The land owners originally bought this property in 2002 with very little on it as it was ex-dairy cattle land. They went to work replanting it in the hope of bringing it back to its original glory and are now ready to share it with the public.
They have truly done an amazing job! Fifteen years on, the wildlife is back. The wallabies, hares, an abundance of bird life, cat fish, goannas, and even a platypus in the creek. There are now trails around the property where the wallabies roam and many bird nests can be spotted in the trees. Beds of natural grasses surround the creek and are expanding out into the forest where the perfect private camping spots can be found.

This is an exclusive property like no other on the Sunshine Coast let alone on the East Coast of Australia.
Even though this property is so close to the busy Hasting Street precinct , this beachfront property makes you feel miles away from it all very quickly . Just you and your friends enjoying something very few people get to experience . The property has 2wd access to the camp site while the beach entry allows for 4wd escapes directly into the famous Cooloola and Fraser Island National Parks.
You will need a big budget to make this happen as it is priced for those who want something very special. Activities like private surfing, fishing, horse riding and yoga alongside an amazing dining experience will certainly wow your guests or clients if you choose this exclusive property for your next event.
Christmas parties and corporate groups looking to unwind or build momentum are most welcome.
The GM Holden Group joined us for a spot of luxury corporate camping on Noosa’s North Shore recently…Here is what they had to say.
We just wanted to pass on our thanks for your assistance with making our recent Sales Managers Trip a great success. The Tents were amazing, and really delivered that “wow” factor when our guests arrived, not to mention being very comfortable
Your chef Andy, was great to deal with, very flexible as to what we needed over the two days and the quality of the food was A1.
Overall you were great to deal with, and made organising this event a breeze. The ability to setup virtually in a location of our choice was also a great advantage.
We’ve had great feedback from all that attended and appreciate everything you did to make this a great event.
We look forward to working with you all again

There is no doubt the climate for camping here on the Sunshine Coast is second to none. Beach side camping grounds like Cotton Tree Caravan Park and Coolum Caravan Park are just some of the perfect locations we can set up our deluxe tents for your weekend away.
Cotton Tree Caravan Park is a large park with lots of campers but it really gives you a sense of getting away from the normal routine and dropping back in time. The river mouth runs alongside the park and is perfect for swimming, stand up paddling, surfing and just relaxing out of any coastal breezes that might come up. The amenities are excellent and the local shops are all on hand for eating out or getting supplies. Coolum Caravan Park is also right in the heart of the small town of Coolum with all the shops and restaurants just down the road. Even though it is so close to the hustle and bustle, it only takes walking down the track to the beach to remember how beautiful the area really is.
The Noosa North Shore Camp Ground (http://www.noosaholidayparks.com.au/noosa-north-shore) is one of our favourite places for setting up our luxury tents. Why ? ..because firstly it can be accessed by 2wd and 4wd. It’s situated right behind the dunes and has reasonable amenities available. The best bit is the beach is car free!!.. so you don’t have to worry about the kids getting run over while they are playing on the beach.
We recommend camp sites 3 and 4 if your looking for a powered site option but when it comes to an unpowered sites there are heaps of good little spots out of the wind or sun which you can choose once you get there. The car ferry (http://www.noosanorthshoreferries.com.au ) at Tewantin is $7 each way which gives you a real sense of getting away from it all while still being close enough to Hasting Street if you want a bit of dinner etc.
Surfing, horse riding, beach fishing and 4wd driving up to Double island Point are all great activities to be enjoyed. Out tip is to try and stay away from public holidays where possible as the line up for the barge is unpleasant both ways.
Campers from the southern states mostly laugh at the idea that it is cold up here in the winter months. We might have a few colder nights that get down toward zero degrees but once the sun rises the temperature quickly comes back up to the mid 20’s.
At Pitch we think it is actually the best time of the year to glamp it up in one of our beautiful bell tents as it gives you much more time to enjoy your tent throughout the day as the temperatures are just perfect inside your tent for reading and just hanging out.
single and queen beds
Clear, still nights under the stars around a beautiful open fire are nearly guaranteed, due to the stable weather patterns throughout winter, ensuring your booking all goes to plan.
Oil heaters, warm socks and our cosy bedding and decor will also be in place for the locals.
Yabbaloumba Retreat is situated only 45 minutes from Noosa, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
“It is by far the most stunning, private and unique camping spot we’ve come across in our travels ,” says Tim Mitchell from Pitch Luxury Camping.
The rural lawn site has creek frontage, cute rustic amenities and is a great place if you’re looking to make some noise into the evening.
Perfect for large group bookings, marque weddings and family weekend getaways without the usual crowds.
Booloumba Creek is a flowing crystal clear creek and is kid friendly, with shaded areas to enjoy nature as the sun strengthens throughout the day. Relax around the camp fire as the sun goes down without a person in sight.
River walks, 4wd tracks, stand up paddle, horse riding and fly fishing with a farm stay atmosphere, overseen by lovely hosts and just under 20 mins to the Blackall Range eateries and attractions.
