We are big fans of the Boreen Point Camp Ground situated only 20 mins from Noosa Beach.http://www.noosaholidayparks.com.au/boreen-point This place feels like it’s a million miles away from the busy tourist strip of Hastings Street and has the ability to turn you into a pumpkin very quickly..a very relaxed pumpkin??
With one convenience store and a classic Aussie pub called the Apollonian Hotel, this part of Noosa is a must see. (http://apollonianhotel.com.au). The surrounding areas of Pomona and Kin Kin are also a great day trip but just hanging out in one of our beautiful tents by Lake Cootharaba and continuing the pumpkin thing works for me. (it’s getting late 🙂 )
