During the 1990s, Goomeri, like many other rural areas, was in a time of prolonged drought and water shortages. Farmers and local businesses were doing it tough and morale was at an all time low.
A town meeting was held to discuss ideas for improving the town’s morale and lagging business economy. At the meeting, one of the ideas was to have a festival of some kind. As pumpkins had been traditionally grown in the area over a number of years, the idea of a Pumpkin Festival was born.
Pitch Luxury Camping will be there for the first time and setting up our tents in the local show ground area that has been especially set aside for our services.
Our tent hire prices will remain the same as our year round pricing despite the extra kitchen and dining spaces included in the package that will be central to our glamping village.
The tents come furnished with bedding for up to 5 guests in queen or single bed configurations, towels , lighting and a few personal touches will be all ready for your arrival.
One night stay $365 per tent.
Two night stay $550 per tent.
*Camp site fees and event entry fees are not included in this price.
School camps , school fundraisers and kid’s sleepover parties are a real favourite with our business. With up to 5 people per tent this can make the glamping experience affordable for everyone. Catered family holidays and larger style wedding events are all in a weeks work for us at Pitch Luxury Camping.

This is the second time we have booked with Pitch Luxury Camping and we love it. We are certainly not hardcore campers so having the tent ready to go when we arrive and not having to worry about packing away is particularly appealing. The tent is extremely welcoming and feels very homely, the kids love it and we always recommend to others and look forward to booking again next year.
