We are privileged to experience many great public camping grounds up and down the east coast of Australia. Here are just a few public campgrounds we recommend. Each one has its own special characteristics. If you prefer a private location, or have your own, contact us, we love to explore and set up anywhere! 

Sunshine Coast

Coolum Beach Campground – Right on the beach behind the dunes, great facilities, close to shops and cafe’s

Cotton Tree Holiday Park – Beautiful swimming beach, close to cafe’s and shops

Noosa North Shore Holiday Park – Amazing, right on the beach! 2WD access, great facilities
Elanda Point Campground (Habitat Noosa) – Great access to the Noosa Everglades, kangaroos, great facilities, restaurant and brewery

Boreen Point  Campground – Old Noosa in style, beautiful lake setting, quiet and relaxing. Great local pub! Fires, braziers.

Bluff Creek Campground – Beautiful relaxed country setting, fires allowed, large area, powered sites available, dogs allowed

Kenilworth Homestead – Relaxed country setting with farm animals, fires allowed, large area, powered sites available, dogs allowed, older facilities

Borumba Creek Deer Park – Great for the kids, country setting, Sunday markets.

Both are situated very close to Brisbane City with beautiful natural settings. Both are very relaxing. Mountain bike tracks and bush walking opportunities galore. High ropes course and shops nearby are all great ingredients for a successful weekend away.

Gold Coast and Northern NSW

Brunswick Heads – Beach and river, great coffee shops and galleries. Great weekend away!

Suffolk Beach – Handy to beach and shops and just down the road from Byron  

Mount Tamborine – Beautiful setting, activities for kids and adults, fires, cool creek to enjoy!
Gold Coast Hinterland – Midginbil Eco Resort Camping – Beautiful location for camping or events
Neurum Creek – Fires, walks, views in a rural setting…make some noise here!
Broken Head –  Chilled, relaxed, surf ..beautiful!
Crescent Head – Surf, golf, explore!
