During the 1990s, Goomeri, like many other rural areas, was in a time of prolonged drought and water shortages. Farmers and local businesses were doing it tough and morale was at an all time low.
A town meeting was held to discuss ideas for improving the town’s morale and lagging business economy. At the meeting, one of the ideas was to have a festival of some kind. As pumpkins had been traditionally grown in the area over a number of years, the idea of a Pumpkin Festival was born.
Pitch Luxury Camping will be there for the first time and setting up our tents in the local show ground area that has been especially set aside for our services.
Our tent hire prices will remain the same as our year round pricing despite the extra kitchen and dining spaces included in the package that will be central to our glamping village.
The tents come furnished with bedding for up to 5 guests in queen or single bed configurations, towels , lighting and a few personal touches will be all ready for your arrival.
One night stay $365 per tent.
Two night stay $550 per tent.
*Camp site fees and event entry fees are not included in this price.
After the very successful Woodford Folk Festival recently, Pitch Luxury Camping is super excited about being involved with the upcoming Artisan Camp and The Planting events in early May 2019. So excited we are offering great early bird rates for those wanting to stay with us for either or both events.
Our deluxe 5 meter tents will be set up on your arrival with queen or single bed configurations for up to five guests per tent. Linen, lighting, towels and furnishing are all included. Some relaxing day tents and a camp kitchen will also be set up to ensure a memorable stay.

The LoneHand Story
The land owners originally bought this property in 2002 with very little on it as it was ex-dairy cattle land. They went to work replanting it in the hope of bringing it back to its original glory and are now ready to share it with the public.
They have truly done an amazing job! Fifteen years on, the wildlife is back. The wallabies, hares, an abundance of bird life, cat fish, goannas, and even a platypus in the creek. There are now trails around the property where the wallabies roam and many bird nests can be spotted in the trees. Beds of natural grasses surround the creek and are expanding out into the forest where the perfect private camping spots can be found.

School camps , school fundraisers and kid’s sleepover parties are a real favourite with our business. With up to 5 people per tent this can make the glamping experience affordable for everyone. This is the second time we have booked with Pitch Luxury Camping and we love it. Hi…Thanks for coming up and setting up my party on the weekend. I had the most fabulous weekend and loved the ginormous party tent – it was great for keeping everyone together (and as a space for kids to hangout out of each other’s tents.) I received lots of comments about how it beautiful it was, how it suited the space, and looked wonderful all set up with the chairs/rugs etc.
The sleeping tents were beautiful and glamourous, as always. I also want to thank you for offering Sarah an additional weekend to make up for the mattresses going down. I think that is pretty amazing of you, customer service wise, and she can’t say enough about how incredible that offer is.
